Recently, plaque-awarding ceremony for the Huawei ICT Academy at Hubei University was held at the Changjiang New Area Campus. Wang Xin, Deputy Director of the Industry Development and Ecosystem, Huawei China Region, Liu Tianmei, Chairman of Wuhan Keyun Information Technology Co., Ltd., and Zhang Donghui, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hubei University Committee and Vice President of Hubei University, attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Zhang Donghui and Wang Xin jointly unveiled the plaque of the "Preferred Huawei ICT Academy." The guests presented certificates to student representatives from Hubei University who had obtained the Huawei Certified ICT Professional certificates.

On behalf of Hubei University, Zhang Donghui expressed gratitude to Huawei for its long-term strong support in discipline development, talent cultivation, and digital campus construction. She stated that jointly building the Huawei ICT Academy is a major initiativeto deepen university-industry collaboration in talent development, further connecting the complete chain of disciplines development, platform foundations, and talent cultivation. She expressed the expectation that the two sides would jointly build an AI computing power and smart research platform, deeply aligning with the needs of Hubei's educational digital transformation and digital industry development, and jointly cultivating and delivering more high-caliber, application-oriented engineering and technical professionals for the construction of a cyber power and Digital China.

In the future, Hubei University will align with the national strategy and regional industrial development layout, focus on the frontiers of digital economy development, continuously deepen university-industry collaboration, optimize the digital-intelligent talent development system, and contribute to the transformation,upgrading and high-quality development of Hubei Province’s digital economy.
